Building world models for baseball, cricket, tennis, golf, football, basketball and soccer.
Every player deal is a forecast.
Out21 is building foundation models that simulate how athletes move and decide, and play them forward through seasons and careers. We’re building them to create independent research for anyone pricing a contract, a trade, a draft pick or a stake in a team.
Independent research on deals that depend on an athlete’s future value
Contracts, extensions, arbitration, trades, draft picks, loans against future earnings and stakes in teams all depend on a forecast of how a player, or a roster, performs in the seasons ahead. Clubs build their own. The agencies, funds, lenders and insurers in the same deals rarely do, and they have no independent source to turn to.
Most sports data covers players already in the top professional leagues. We’re starting to collect our own on everyone else, including planned pop-up clinics that pay young hitters to take live at-bats.
The deals are large, and they’re priced years before the results come in.
